THE LIQUIDATIONS TOOL
See the levels. Trade the reaction.
Proliquid draws the same on-chain liquidation map live next to your chart, with adjustable range and one-click market access.
Every open Hyperliquid position has a liquidation price that depends on its entry, leverage, and margin. This page groups those prices into buckets within 20% of the current price and sums the position value in each one. Tall bars mark levels where a move would force many positions to close at once.
Long clusters below the price are potential forced selling; short clusters above it are potential forced buying. Price often accelerates into a dense cluster and stalls after it clears. The map is a snapshot of estimates: traders add margin, close, or get partially liquidated before price arrives.
No. The map is built from open Hyperliquid positions that are publicly readable on-chain, using each position's current liquidation price. Traders add margin, close, or get partially liquidated before the price arrives, so treat the bars as an estimate of where forced selling or buying is concentrated, not a guarantee that it will happen.
What is the difference between long and short liquidation zones?
Long positions are liquidated when price falls, so long zones sit below the current price and represent potential forced selling. Short positions are liquidated when price rises, so short zones sit above the current price and represent potential forced buying. Large clusters in either direction can accelerate a move once price reaches them.
Which exchanges are covered?
This page covers Hyperliquid, where positions and liquidation prices are transparent. Liquidation heatmaps for centralized exchanges are modeled from leverage assumptions because their positions are not public. The Proliquid liquidations tool shows the same Hyperliquid data with live updates and adjustable ranges.
How often does the map refresh?
The underlying position snapshot updates roughly every 15 minutes and this page re-reads it every few minutes. The timestamp above the chart shows when the snapshot was taken.
